Terms and Conditions of Service

Important Notice Regarding BeverageBistro.com Alcoholic Beverage Orders and Deliveries

If you ordered beer and/or wine through the facilities of the Beveragebistro.com website, you should be aware of the following important points:

You must be 21 years old to order or to receive beer and/or wine. All shipments of beer and/or wine are delivered by DHL and the signature of an adult is required at the time of delivery. By signing for the package, the recipient is confirming that they are at least 21 years of age. Any misrepresentation to the courier is unlawful and any violation will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

By ordering beer and/or wine you have authorized us to have the product shipped on your behalf via DHL or a certified courier service. This authorization, granted by you, allows ownership of the product to pass to you at the time the product is picked up by your courier. Under the terms of sale, the courier is acting as your agent.

Shipments of wine and beer are generally required to be processed by a licensed wholesaler and delivered through a licensed retailer in the state where the order is being shipped. Accordingly, all state excise, sales and other applicable taxes are reported and paid as required by law. The only exception is with respect to wine shipments in states that specifically allow direct shipping in which case the product is shipped from a licensed retailer in the state of origination and the appropriate tax and reports are filed accordingly.

All club members are required to notify BeverageBistro.com a minimum of twenty-one (21) days prior to the attempted product delivery of an address change or if the member will be unavailable to accept delivery due to travel or other reasons. With proper notification, the company can make the accommodations as required to facilitate delivery on a standard basis. Failure to notify as stipulated may result in non delivery (DHL makes three attempts). There is a $25.00 handling charge for all no-deliveries. The products can be reshipped after the customer is contacted. In compliance with various state laws, BeverageBistro.com cannot issue refunds for any beer or wine product that has been shipped but not received.

BeverageBistro.com uses the services of industry experts to help select some of the wines and beers provided to our membership. These individuals include beer critic, Michael Jackson, Sommeliers or Wine Directors at premier restaurants and various other wine authorities from time to time. None of the industry experts who may assist in product selection has any responsibility for, nor can they be held accountable for any issues related to billing, delivery, and quality of the final products that are sent out through BeverageBistro.com.

Beveragebistro.com reserves the right to alter the selection provided to members to accommodate unexpected market conditions that may develop. Any substitutions will always be of equal quality and quantity as the planned selection, and advance notice will be given whenever possible.

For month-to-month memberships, credit/debit cards are generally charged anytime between the 5th and the 15th of the month.

BeverageBistro.com guarantees that all products delivered will be of acceptable quality. If members receive products they do not like, for whatever reason, the unused portion may be returned for refund. Memberships can be cancelled at any time without penalty or cost.
